About Your Session

What does my session fee include?

Your session fee includes your session on location (with the amount of time listed), any shots you’d like to include in that window of time, the time and talent of your photographer, and a private ordering gallery where you can select only what you’d like! While Lyndsey typically chooses location, we are open to your requests and try to accomodate you whenever we can.

Why is the session fee separate?

We like to make things as customizable as possible for our wide range of client needs. Some clients are only looking for a few images and some are looking for an all-inclusive experience. By separating the session fee from the product fee, we allow you to make that decision based on your budget and preferences.

How many people can be included in my session?

We do not have a limit of number of people for sessions. However, please be aware that with more people, it is recommended to get a larger session to make sure we have enough time. Groups of 25 or less work just fine for a standard session, just please keep expectations reasonable for our allotted time! A lot can be photographed in a small window of time with willing participants. If you have a group of over 25, please select the extended session.

What happens if I go over my session time?

Session time will be strictly adhered to. If you need more time, you may have the option to purchase a larger session.

Which type of session should I choose?

This depends on what you’re looking for! Here’s what we recommend:

Mini session

  • You only want a few different photos, or one large group photo, etc.

  • Your kiddos love the camera and do their best in a first short period of time.

  • Your husband prefers a short session ;)

  • You don’t need a lot of variety in the location

  • You prefer a quick pace

  • You have a family of 5 or less

Standard session

  • You’d like more variety in your location

  • You have outfit changes

  • You have kiddos that need a little more time

  • You prefer a relaxed pace

  • You have a family of 5 or more

Extended session

  • You have a very large group

  • You want a lot of variety in your location

  • You have kids that want to take their time

  • You want a very relaxed pace

  • You want to spend extra time getting the perfect shot

What is the turnaround?

Galleries will be sent to you within two weeks of your session date! If you do not need retouching, your photos are available immediately. If you need retouching, expect another two weeks of turnaround after your order is placed.

How long will I have to place my order?

An initial order needs to be made in the first week after your gallery is open. After that, your gallery will be open for 3 months for unlimited downloads and ordering. After this three month period, your gallery will be removed, so please make sure that you order and download in a timely manner.

How long have you been doing photography?

I’ve been a photographer in the Treasure Valley for 13 years!

Can you give me a discount for being a repeat client?

Please message for a VIP code when ordering if you have used at least 2 consecutive years in a row! VIP code goes toward orders only, not the session fee.

Can you donate your services to my fundraiser/cause/someone in need?

Donations are based on our discretion and when we are able to give. We love to give whenever we can but we also have to balance that with the costs of running business!

Will you photograph for exposure?

Unfortunately, exposure doesn’t put food on the table for my family- and after 13 years, it’s not where I am currently at!
